If anyone were to say he had the power to change the things were, to help the unnoticed and save the afflicted - which has been horribly overused - I wouldn't hesitate to throw up and then swallow my pukeThe notion of "rendering help" to those labelled as the unfortunate souls with unspeakably tragic fates seem noble; yet rarely put into action. Instead, that very act would be conceived as an act of charity or sympathy, executed with detachment and indifference. Appalling as it is, the sad sad mechanisms of social practices (of a particular elitist community, in this case) disallows any change to the present state. These customary practices are precisely what perpetuates the underlying social divisions which are obscured from the sight of the greater majority. A tragedy hahs Didnt get to eat ben and jerry's today -___- but ohwells at least BFF is not that sick..get well soon dear:D (0) comments |
