Fond memories of the pleasure of nothingness seem to have languished beneath the mundane/tedious yet excruciatingly competitive process of self-preservation.Bloody rat race. It's easy being hardworking you just have to plant yourself right at the table and er, sit tight. The arse weakens from the sitting and you'll probably be too lazy to ever walk around. I guess it's a good thing. "It's O levels uh, Ordinary Level uh you all should excel in it." Sounds familiar right. I believe so. Sighss.. Overwhelming sense of unspeakable sianness. What an onslaught. I can't help but think I might probably lose my sec school friends after OsD:There's always this urge to treat them extremely nice during the last few days of school, shed a few tears, plant a few kisses, give a few hugs having treated them far from well for the past few years. Of course I made it sound hypocritical but I guess it's kinda true. Friendships from primary school and kindergarden have been testimonies of broken promises and failed attempts to keep to a common belief that we will hold on to our friendships and you have the forgetmenots and 'BestFriendsForeva' which seem myopic and utterly silly all of a sudden. Why should that of secondary school be any different? Sighs. (0) comments |
